Dress code

Every day is an interview…

Vision Studio School has a dress code that applies to both students and staff. All students and staff should dress in a way that is consistent with the professional and business-like ethos of the school. It is our school policy that all children wear formal or vocational business dress when attending school, or when participating in a school-organised event outside normal school hours.

We believe that by wearing business dress we’re able to promote a sense of pride in the school, as well as a sense of community. It is practical, smart and instils a professional approach to school. Our policy has been designed with health and safety in mind, and is also regarded by most parents as good value for money.

The role of parents

We ask all parents who send their children to our school to support the dress code policy. We believe that parents have a duty to send their children to school correctly dressed and ready for their daily schoolwork. One of the responsibilities of parents is to ensure that their child has the correct business dress and that the clothing is clean and in good repair.

A hard copy of the dress code policy can be requested by calling 01623 413622.

Below are examples of what is accepted and not accepted as part of the school uniform for Years 10 and 11, and sixth form students.
